that make you grin from ear to ear. Just listened to 12/19/78 and was just blown away by the transition from Stella Blue to NFA. Just am absolute perfect segue that fits the songs together like links of different chains and one I hadn't heard before (keep in mind that I'm listening in chronological order). The whole second set is stunning and includes a suite of Truckin'-> Drums-> The Other One-> Stella Blue-> Not Fade Away-> Around & Around. http://www.archive.org/details/gd78-12-19.aud-sony.wagner.19507.sbeok.flacf

Any other stunningly perfect transitions that caught you by surprise?

THANKS for mentioning one of my favorite shows (and moments). LONG LIVE 12/19/78
: ) : ) : )

Great transitions...hmm

7-31-74 Truckin>Jam>Mind Left Body Jam>Spanish Jam>Wharf Rat...especially the jam>mlb jam, just comes outta nowhere.

Or, how about 5-22-77 eyes>rat>terrapin>dew, each of those segues is beautiful enough to kill, all perfectly timed.

9-24-76, help>slip>drums>slip>frank's>mns>stella, take the Aud, it has great sounding drums, don't miss the frank's>mns>stella, those transitions are completely unique as far as I know, not a missed beat anywhere

12-12-78, 1/2 step>frank's gets me every time

10-14-83 space>spanish is a moment that always makes me smile.

There is also a dew>good lovin>la bamba>good lovin somewhere in 87 or 88 that is great, can't remember the date though.
